I always wanted to visit one of the most recognizable architecture masterpiece, the Eiffel Tower. It seems impossible to complete your Paris trip and not visiting the Eiffel Tower. Before visiting the Eiffel tower I did read some of the blogs which suggested to buy tickets in advance to cut down the waiting time in line though if you missed your appointed time your ticket will be void. We decide to take the ticket on the spot. We headed to the Effiel tower early morning which was for us was around 10 am after having breakfast in a local restaurant near our Airbnb. The nearest metro station to Eiffel Tower is Bir Hakeim from where you can just walk to the Eiffel Tower. As we reached close to Eiffel Tower, we saw a large number of crowd hovering there. Looking at the crowd I can say there is no off season in Paris. We were there in late April on a weekday. There is a security check in before entering the main area of the Eiffel tower. Once we passed through the security we went for purchasing the ticket. There were three lines for the tickets, we decided to take tickets for the staircase up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. There are approximately 700 steps to the second floor. Eiffel tower consists of three floors. You can walk up to the floor but the top floor is only reachable by elevator. There are three options to explore the Eiffel Tower, one option through stairs up to the second floor, second options through the elevator to second or top floor and third option walking up to the second floor and then taking the elevator to the top floor.

The view from the second floor is majestic and self-satisfactory that you can skip the top floor and save some of your euros.

After enjoying the majestic views from the Eiffel Tower we came downstairs and spend some time at the foot of Eiffel Tower; we had lunch and then went to explore the nearby area around the Seine river. I end up clicking so many pictures at different spots of the city and enjoying every moment.

We went back to our Airbnb for some rest and decided to come back to view the Eiffel Tower at night. As during night time, the Eiffel Tower is all lit up and its glory is high to the next level. So, around evening time we again came back to Eiffel Tower. I clicked different pictures from the time Eiffel tower light was switched on in the evening to around 10 pm when it was all lit up and shining in its glory. It's an ecstatic feeling to witness the magnificent beauty of Iron Lady in the night. We had two different experiences at the Eiffel Tower on the same day.
