Girgaum Chowpatty is one of the star attaractions of Mumbai. It is located adjoining to the Marine Drive in South Mumbai. The nearest local station to reach here is Churchgate Railway station or you can take a cab or taxi.

People come out here to enjoy and relax with families and friends. You can also get bamboo carpet on rent for relaxing on the beach as sand is not very clean. The best time to visit is evening time for the magnificent sunset view. Apart from the view the stalls on the beach offers excellent local delicacies at very reasonable price varying from Pav bhaji, Pani puri, different types of sanwiches, Bhelpuri, Sevpuri, kulfis to golas. Its a perfect outing place for a lazy evening.
