MUMBAI DIARIES (Page 3) : MARINE DRIVE

Marine Drive is the one place in Mumbai where I love going again and again. Sometimes after having dinner me and hubby go for a drive along the Marine drive and sit there for sometime. At night time the marine drive you see is totally different the one one you see in the morning or day time. At night time if you will see the Marine Drive from an elevated point the street light appears like pearls in a string of a necklace. The charm of Marine drive at different time of day will give you different memorable memories. If you are in Mumbai you must visit Marine drive. Its located in South Mumbai. I have been there many times. This time I visited Marine Drive with Ma and Papa. First we went to Taraporevala Aquarium from Colaba by Taxi and we decided to wander down Girgaum chowpatty and then finally to Marine drive. We covered all the three places at same time as all of them are together one after other. After spending fun time at Chowpatty we walked down to marine drive.

Marine Drive

Walking down you will find different kind of persons along the Marine Drive. Some walking, running, young couples showing their affection for each other, old people chanting, people spending their leisure time with whole famiy, people taking selfies, sleeping, tourists. Marine drive never sleeps you will find crowd anytime of the day.

It gives a mesmerizing view of the city and the Arabian Sea. Marine drive is approximately 3.5 km boulevard in Colaba (South Mumbai). The breeze gives a heavenly feeling and take you away from the daily hustle bustle into different world of your own. My Parents loved the place and we walked down to the extreme end of the Marine drive enjoying the view of the city and sea breeze.
