Our Rendezvous with Leh Ladakh Part III

Finally the much awaited day came, we were heading to Pangong Tso lake. Pangong is one of the treasured tourist destination. We started our journey from Nubra valley in the morning at around 9 am after having breakfast. On the way there were many interesting quotes written along side roads like "Bone Breaker" and "Don't be monk in the land of monk" which make you giggle as routes are indeed capable of breaking bones. The point where we entered the wildlife area of Ladakh we came across a super cute and adorable animal known as Marmots. I could not stop myself, capturing these adorable creatures in my camera.

This was a candid moment with marmots. It is advisable not to feed these creatures. We again started our drive to Pangong Tso with revive souls. Once you start getting a glimpse of Pangong lake, you can't stop your inner desire to be there as soon as possible. I have never seen such a big, beautiful lake with crystal clear water surrounded by intimidating mountains. The place was though over crowded.

Surrounding of lake is very beautiful and the lake water changes its colour with different time of the day. One can't get enough of it, the view was just stunning. After this wow moment we went to our camp for some snacks and tea. At dining table we decided again to go for a walk along lake side and trust me guys it's amazing. One thing to keep in mind is Pangong is much colder than Nubra valley. So, dress up well to keep yourself warm.
