Every girl find an imperfection in their body, we want somebody's else like hairs, waist, legs and the list goes on.......
Its up to us leading our imperfection to perfection to look amazing. Be comfortable and confident in whatever you wear. Wear it like you own it and love your body. This time I am talking about pear shaped beauties, as I too have a pear shaped body. So, I can relate to Pear shape body problems. First of all, What is pear shaped body type?
Pear shape is used to describe a body with heavy lower body thick thighs, curvy hips/buttocks. Usually, Pear shaped women have narrow shoulders, defined waist, small bust. So the key point here is to emphasize our assets and De-emphasizing the bits we don't like as much.
Pear shaped ladies should wear clothes that accentuate their upper body and minimize the hip and thigh area.

There are few style tips which I am going to share with you guys to look smashing with your pear shaped figure:

1. Wear solid, dark color bottoms: Dark color give a slimming effect to our body. Stick to dark and solid colors like grey, black, navy blue and olive green in jeans, skirts, trousers. Dark color bottoms go with any color shirt, top, tunics and kurtas.



2. Try Flowy trousers / Palazzo pants: Go for cotton or polyester fabric as they glide through your beautiful curves and make you feel comfortable and gorgeous. As the hems of Palazzo are wide, they will visually balance the pear shaped body. Pair them with a nice fitted top or crop top.



3. Choose Skirts wisely: Stay away from short and tight skirts which highlight your problem areas. Choose the skirt with right length, fabric and shape. Either you can go for A-line maxi skirts which end at your ankle or you can go for A-line midi skirts which end up at your knee or just above knee length. Maxi and midi skirts both are so in nowadays. They hide your problem areas and emphasizes on your assets. Skirt should be well fitted at the waist area or you can just throw a belt around your waist to secure your look. I am obsessed with skirts as they endow a feminine touch to your overall look.



4. Maxi Dress Love: Floor Gazing, flowy, comfortable maxi dress is a versatile piece which you can style up in many ways. Choose a maxi dress which is fitted at your upper part and flowy in the rear portion. If necessary complete your look by adding a belt on your waist. You can also layer your maxi dress with a shrug, denim jacket or you can throw on a scarf.

5. Avoid Bold prints and patterns on lower half: A big no no to bold pattern and prints as it will add more bulk to your curvy lower half. Avoid any kind of detailling near your hip portion. It will draw attention to your problem areas. If you can't resist your love for patterns and prints, go for small prints.

6. Experiment with your upper body: Choose top in bold colors and prints to draw attention to your upper body. Opt for necklines which visually widen your shoulders like boat neck, scoop neck, halter neck and sweetheart neck. You can try the season's hottest trend the cold shoulder tops and off shoulder tops if you are comfortable wearing it. Say hello to horizontal stripes as they will give an visual illusion of widening your upper portion.
Wear top with details, ruffles and bows. Look for wide sleeve top to add a volume to your arms. Also pay attention to the fitting of the top. Don't wear too tight or too loose top. It should be of proper fitting accentuating your waist line and upper body.





         

7. Layer it up: Layer your outfit to give an equal proportion to your figure. You can add a shrug, Kimono, Light jackets to your dress that will draw attention to your upper body. It will surely glam your boring outfit in a moment and make you look sassy.



8. Heels: Heels are your best friend. They instantly elongate your curvy legs and give them a perfect look. Its not possible to wear heels in everyday routine but you can go for comfortable choices like platform and wedges. Mainly Beige color sandals build a visual illusion of long legs and increase your glam quotient.





9. Choosing the right inner wears: Briefs with high cuts on sides and with a lower rise will smooth and slim out your hip and thigh area visually. They make your legs look longer. Pear shaped women with smaller bust can compensate with the help of padded bras and push up bras. Pear shaped women with larger breasts just need to be sure of the perfect fitting and good quality of the bra.
    For the slimming effect on your lower half  you can spend on a good quality shape-wear (Thigh and hip shape-wear).

11. Anarkalis, Saree: If  you prefer wearing ethnic dresses go for Anarkali suits and kurtis. Pear shaped women look absolutely fierce in anarkalis with more flares below waist. Wear Anarkalis, kurtis with boat neck, V neck, mandarin neck with detailing around neck area to highlight your upper body.
Wear light and soft fabric like Chiffon,georgette and crepe to avoid bulk and texture over problem area. Patialas, Palazzo and salwars are good option for lower body which camouflage the problem areas.

10. Accessorize you upper body: Necklace is the most beautiful ornament to accessorize your neck.
There are variety of necklaces in market which you can wear in your daily basis. Long, statement earrings also draw attention to your upper body and accentuating your upper half with scarves is also a good way to elongate your neckline.
